What this table tells you about venir

Aux

The past participle is venu, and it takes être in the passé composé — so it agrees with the subject: elle est venue, ils sont venus.

Stem

The futur simple is built on viendr-, which is not the infinitive venir. This stem has to be learned, and it is the same one the conditional uses later.

Sound

In the present, je, tu and il/elle are one sound: viens, vient — indistinguishable spoken. Only nous, vous and ils/elles carry an audible ending.

Easy win

The imparfait is built on the nous-present stem, so once you know venons you already know venais, venait and venaient. Futur proche keeps venir untouched.
