How the progress is worked out
Every drill uses a three-box Leitner system, the paper flashcard method adapted for a browser. A word you get wrong steps down one box. A word you get right moves up one box, and once it reaches box 3 it counts as learned. Each round mixes the boxes rather than draining one before touching the next — mostly box 1, some box 2, and a small share of box 3 — so the words you keep missing come round the most, and words you've already learned still turn up occasionally rather than being dropped and quietly forgotten.
That mix is the point, not a bug: a strict weakest-first queue could never promote anything on a large word bank, and words that never come back are the ones most likely to fade. The percentage on each card is the share of that drill's words currently sitting in box 3.
How much is here
27 drills covering 2789 items in total. Nothing is behind a signup, a paywall or an email capture, and every drill's full word list is printed on its own page as a reference table — so the drills work with JavaScript off, just as plain tables.
What a day streak counts
A day is counted when you finish a round, not when you open a page. Several rounds in one day still count once. Miss a day and the count starts again at one — it is a nudge, not a score, and there is nothing to lose by breaking it.

Can I move my progress to another device?
There is still no account — everything stays in your browser, which is what keeps the site free. But you can carry it yourself: download a backup file below and keep it somewhere safe, then restore it on another browser or device, or on this one again after clearing your data by accident. Each drill also has its own "Reset my progress" button if you want to start a drill over deliberately. See the privacy policy for exactly what is stored.
