Reporting a mistake in a lesson
French is detailed and exams are unforgiving, so accuracy matters to us. If you spot an error — a wrong conjugation, a pronunciation that doesn't sound right, an out-of-date immigration figure — please email us and include the link to the lesson and, if you can, the exact line. Verified corrections are applied and the lesson's last-updated date changes to reflect it.
Suggesting a lesson
Learning French for TEF Canada, TCF Canada, or Express Entry and stuck on something not yet covered? Tell us the topic. Requests directly shape which lessons and practice drills get built next.
The most useful requests say what you were trying to do when you got stuck, not just the grammar term — "I couldn't work out which past tense to use when telling someone what I did last weekend" leads to a better lesson than "imparfait". If several people ask for the same thing, it moves up the queue.
What we can help with
- Questions about a lesson. If an explanation didn't land, say which part. A confusing explanation is a bug in the lesson, and it usually gets rewritten rather than answered privately, so that the next person doesn't hit it.
- Errors in French, Punjabi or Hindi. Wrong conjugations, a Gurmukhi respelling that doesn't match how the word actually sounds, a gender marked incorrectly, a translation that reads oddly to a native speaker. These are the most valuable messages we get.
- Out-of-date immigration figures. CRS points, CLB thresholds and draw cutoffs change. If a page states a number that no longer matches the IRCC source it cites, tell us and it gets corrected and re-dated.
- Broken pages, broken audio, layout problems. Please include the device and browser — the drills use your browser's own speech synthesis, and which French voices exist varies a lot between phones.
What we can't help with
We can't give immigration or legal advice, assess your eligibility, review your Express Entry profile, or tell you whether your score will be enough for a draw. FrenchPunjabi is educational material about the French language and how the exams work — it is not affiliated with IRCC or any government body. For advice about your own case, speak to a regulated Canadian immigration consultant or a lawyer, and confirm current requirements on the official government pages.
We also can't offer tutoring, mark practice essays, or run mock oral exams. The site is free and written by one person; the lessons and drills are the whole offering.
Privacy
Your email is used only to reply to you and, where you've reported an error, to check the fix. It isn't added to a mailing list or shared with anyone. How the site itself handles data — including the practice progress stored in your own browser — is set out in the privacy policy.
