शुरुआत — यह तीन क्रियाएँ क्यों पहले सीखनी चाहिए?

-ER, -IR और -RE verbs regular pattern पर चलती हैं। पर French की सबसे ज़्यादा इस्तेमाल होने वाली क्रियाएँ irregular हैं — हर एक का अपना pattern। aller (to go), faire (to do/make), venir (to come) — यह तीनों हर रोज़ की बातचीत में être/avoir के बाद सबसे ज़्यादा इस्तेमाल होती हैं।

संबंध: Être and Avoir पढ़ चुके हैं तो आप पहले से जानते हैं कि irregular verbs का अपना pattern होता है, जो याद करना पड़ता है।

ALLER (to go)

Subject Form Pronunciation हिन्दी अर्थ
je vais vay I go
tu vas vah You go (informal)
il/elle va vah He/she goes
nous allons ah-lo(n) We go
vous allez ah-lay You go (formal/plural)
ils/elles vont vo(n) They go

ध्यान दें: je/tu/il/elle के लिए स्टेम पूरी तरह बदल जाता है (v-), पर nous/vous के लिए ‘all-’ वापस आ जाता है — यही irregular verbs का स्वभाव है।

  • “Je vais à l’école.” → I go to school.
  • “Tu vas au marché?” → Are you going to the market?
  • “Nous allons au Canada.” → We are going to Canada.

FAIRE (to do / to make)

Subject Form Pronunciation हिन्दी अर्थ
je fais fay I do / make
tu fais fay You do / make (informal)
il/elle fait fay He/she does / makes
nous faisons fuh-zo(n) We do / make
vous faites fet You do / make (formal/plural)
ils/elles font fo(n) They do / make

ध्यान दें: ‘nous faisons’ का उच्चारण ‘fuh-zo(n)’ है, ‘fay-zo(n)’ नहीं — French में यह एक ख़ास अपवाद है। ‘vous faites’ भी irregular है — ‘faisez’ नहीं।

  • “Je fais mes devoirs.” → I do my homework.
  • “Il fait beau aujourd’hui.” → The weather is nice today. (weather expression)
  • “Vous faites du sport?” → Do you play sports?

VENIR (to come)

Subject Form Pronunciation हिन्दी अर्थ
je viens vyen I come
tu viens vyen You come (informal)
il/elle vient vyen He/she comes
nous venons vuh-no(n) We come
vous venez vuh-nay You come (formal/plural)
ils/elles viennent vyen They come

ध्यान दें: je/tu/il/elle और ils/elles सारे ‘vien-’ स्टेम इस्तेमाल करते हैं (पर ils/elles में दो ‘n’ — viennent), जबकि nous/vous ‘ven-’ स्टेम वापस लेते हैं।

  • “Je viens de Montréal.” → I come from Montreal.
  • “Tu viens avec nous?” → Are you coming with us?
  • “Ils viennent demain.” → They are coming tomorrow.

Aller बनाम Venir — दिशा का फ़र्क़

Aller (to go — दूर जाना) Venir (to come — नज़दीक आना)

Je allons Je vais ‘je’ के लिए ‘vais’ है, ‘allons’ सिर्फ़ nous के लिए
Nous faisez Nous faisons ‘vous faites’

FAQ

क्या 'aller' सिर्फ़ futur proche के लिए इस्तेमाल होती है?

नहीं। [Futur Proche](/hi/lessons/futur-proche-aller-infinitive/) में 'aller + infinitive' भविष्य के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है (Je vais manger = I am going to eat), पर 'aller' ख़ुद का भी simple मतलब है 'to go' (Je vais à l'école = I go to school)। इस लेसन में दोनों इस्तेमाल दिखाए गए हैं।

'Faire' का हमेशा 'to do' मतलब होता है?

नहीं। 'Faire' दो मतलब देती है — 'to do' (Je fais mes devoirs = I do my homework) और 'to make' (Je fais un gâteau = I make a cake)। यह बहुत सारे fixed expressions में भी इस्तेमाल होती है: faire du sport, faire attention, faire beau (weather)।

'Venir' और 'aller' में क्या फ़र्क़ है?

'Aller' = to go (दूर जाना)। 'Venir' = to come (नज़दीक आना)। 'Je vais chez toi' = I'm going to your place। 'Tu viens chez moi?' = Are you coming to my place? दोनों irregular हैं पर अलग pattern पर conjugate होती हैं।

यह तीनों verbs क्यों 'irregular' कहलाती हैं?

क्योंकि यह -ER, -IR, -RE के regular pattern का पालन नहीं करतीं — हर एक का अपना अलग stem बदलाव है (vais/vas/va, fais/fait, viens/vient)। इन्हें याद करना ही पड़ता है, क्योंकि कोई शॉर्टकट नहीं।
