French Preposition entre: Between, Among and Fixed Expressions
Entre means between: two points of place or time (entre Paris et Lyon, entre huit et dix heures, always with et), and the people or things in a relationship (entre nous, entre amis). Use a stressed pronoun after it (entre toi et moi). For among many use parmi.
Never entre … à. A range with de … à (de huit à dix heures) is a different pattern. With a group, d'entre means 'of' (l'un d'entre nous). Entre midi et deux is the French lunch break.
